My experience as a trainer at - Mentric Training & Consulting

Hello! I am Chandrakanta Nayak and I feel privileged to share my journey with Mentric Training & Consulting Pvt Ltd. Course Overview:

This 600-hour course was organized in Angul, Odisha aligned with the National Occupational Standards (NOS), to train participants to become Multi-Skilled Technicians (Electrical). It’s designed for those who’ve completed the 10th standard and are at least 18 years old.

Training Outcomes:

Master small appliance products and industry knowledge.

Safely use tools and equipment.

Install and repair household fixtures and appliances.

Engage with customers and provide excellent after-sales service.

Develop soft skills and safety practices.

Evaluate opportunities for starting a micro-enterprise.

Why Take This Training?

Observations & Challenges:

Our trainees, hailing from rural areas, are incredibly eager to learn new skills. However, they struggle to adapt to the classroom environment after being away from formal education for months or even years. As a trainer, my biggest challenge was mobilizing candidates and conveying the course's value to their families.

Student Feedback:

Many students and villagers have requested more training programs after seeing the positive impact on their communities. Students are also ambitious about building their careers and seeking more employment opportunities.
